This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
β’ Serve as an ambassador for SCP Health by embodying core values and demonstrating operational leadership within hospital environments.
β’ Provide clinical and operational guidance to CRNAs and Anesthesia APPs.
β’ Ensure adherence to regulatory standards, manage risks, benchmark performances, and engage in educational and teaching initiatives.
β’ Promote client objectives while supporting leadership in anesthesia practice management.
β’ Discover and implement opportunities for practice growth and development.
β’ Establish strong partnerships with representatives from client hospitals.
β’ Engage in hospital process enhancement and client consulting projects.
β’ Stay informed about the financial aspects of clinical operations.
β’ Collaborate with corporate staff and promote process enhancements and IT initiatives.
β’ Assist the Client Service Team leadership in addressing challenging client relationships as mutually agreed upon.
β’ Oversee APP performance, offering constructive feedback and coaching.
β’ Provide orientation and mentorship to Regional Directors, Anesthesia APPs, and CRNAs.
β’ Supervise the completion of medical records, monitor patient satisfaction, resolve complaints, and enhance operational efficiency.
β’ Take part in provider risk assessments, quality evaluations, CQI processes, and multidisciplinary research.
β’ Offer advice on recruiting, credentialing, retention, billing, and reimbursement matters.
β’ Create fully staffed, high-performing APP teams across affiliated hospitals.
β’ Meet targets for clinical quality, operational performance, financial metrics, patient satisfaction, client satisfaction, and contract retention.
β’ Report directly to the President and collaborate with regional, clinical, operational, and corporate leaders.
β’ A Masterβs or Doctoral degree in Nurse Anesthesia (or an equivalent Advanced Practice Provider program) is required.
β’ Current certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) through the NBCRNA.
β’ Possession of a valid, unrestricted state APP/CRNA license.
β’ Current, unrestricted APP licensure in relevant state(s).
β’ National certification or recertification must be in good standing.
β’ Maintain certification to participate in Medicare and Medicaid programs.
β’ Authorization from the United States Drug Enforcement Administration for the state of practice to dispense controlled substances must be maintained.
β’ Capability to obtain additional state APP/CRNA licenses as required or directed.
β’ Extensive prior experience in anesthesia APP clinical leadership.
β’ Experience in managing multi-site CRNA teams is preferred.
