Senior VFX Producer – Feature Experience

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Oversee the financial health and profitability of the project.

• Execute comprehensive bidding utilizing scripts, storyboards, and meetings.

• Supervise daily assignments for individual artists.

• Organize and distribute delivery calendars following the approved methodology breakdown.

• Monitor and update VFX shot progress in Shotgrid.

• Engage in daily communication with clients, editorial teams, and in-house management.

• Facilitate the progression of shots through the pipeline from work-in-progress to final delivery each week.

• Ensure completion of tasks within designated timeframes and budget constraints.

• Actualize project budgets and hours through to completion.

• Operate efficiently within the established pipeline.

• Accept direction and adjust to changes as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• Previous experience with a VFX vendor is essential.

• Feature film experience is required.

• Proven experience managing both 3D and 2D artists in a production setting.

• Familiarity with budgeting for VFX and the ability to breakdown scripts and storyboards.

• Availability for some nights, weekends, and travel as necessary.

• Capacity to work effectively within a structured team environment.

• Strong problem-solving abilities, self-motivated, adaptable to production changes, and capable of inspiring artists and teams.

• Proficiency in Word and Excel is required.

• On-set experience is an advantage.

• Familiarity with Shotgun is a significant plus.

• Experience producing VFX for television clients is beneficial.

• Must be a resident of British Columbia, Canada.

• A reliable internet connection via ethernet is necessary.

• Ability to work on Pacific Standard Time is required.
