This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities within the life sciences sector.

• Develop and implement prospecting strategies utilizing referral networks, carrier relationships, industry associations, and market research.

• Prepare and deliver proposals, presentations, and renewal strategies tailored to complex coverage requirements.

• Maintain and expand an assigned portfolio of life sciences business.

• Collaborate with account executives, underwriters, and claims teams to effectively service client accounts.

• Conduct regular account reviews to identify coverage gaps, cross-selling opportunities, and retention risks.

• Establish and nurture relationships with carrier partners, underwriters, and specialty market contacts.

• Represent Howden at industry events, trade associations, and client functions.

• Monitor market trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activities in the life sciences insurance arena.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possession of an active Property & Casualty producer license in Pennsylvania, or the ability to obtain one within a specified timeframe.

• Proven track record of generating new business within the life sciences or a related specialty insurance domain.

• Established network of referral sources and/or carrier relationships within the life sciences field.

• Strong understanding of product liability, clinical trials liability, and professional/technology liability coverage lines.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the capability to present to both prospective and existing clients.

• Professional designations such as CIC, CPCU, CRM, or equivalent are preferred but not mandatory.
