Senior Verification Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Reach out to deponents such as medical offices, hospitals, and businesses to verify service details for subpoenas that involve a high level of complexity.

• Perform in-depth research to find accurate contact details, service agents, and specific instructions for challenging or unfamiliar custodians.

• Input confirmed information into DAS to guarantee precise subpoena issuance and service.

• Manage escalated verification cases, including those involving custodians with intricate requirements or conflicting information.

• Act as a subject matter expert for junior members of the verifications team.

• Aid in training new employees on verification processes, DAS, and HIPAA compliance.

• Update and maintain the location database with new and corrected custodian information.

• Recognize trends in verification difficulties and present suggestions to the team lead or manager.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in verifications, records retrieval, or a similar legal services role.

• Strong skills in internet research and the ability to locate reliable information sources.

• Thorough understanding of HIPAA regulations and subpoena procedures.

• Proficient in DAS and Microsoft Office applications.

• Outstanding phone and written communication abilities.

• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.

• Comfortable providing mentorship to peers and fostering team development.

• Proof of eligibility to work in the country where the job is located.

• Successful completion of a background check.
