This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Listen to complete US English audio recordings and assess automatically segmented word-level transcripts.

• Confirm the start and end boundaries of each spoken word.

• Adjust boundaries that commence too early or conclude too late.

• Ensure that the text corresponds with what was uttered.

• Rectify transcription mistakes.

• Separate segments that incorrectly encompass multiple words.

• Combine or eliminate segments when required.

• Detect missing word segments.

• Apply spoken-form transcription conventions uniformly.

• Review the entire assigned audio file rather than conducting a partial review.

• Utilize careful listening and judgment when boundaries are challenging to differentiate in continuous speech.

• Maintain consistent accuracy and adhere to project guidelines throughout the production process.

• Native or near-native proficiency in English.

• Proven professional transcription experience.

• Excellent listening and comprehension abilities.

• Strong typing skills with meticulous attention to detail.

• Experience with transcription guidelines and quality standards.

• Ability to consistently produce accurate, high-quality work.

• Strong skills in quality control and error detection.

• Reliable availability throughout the duration of the project.

• Previous experience in transcription review, QA, QC, or adjudication is highly regarded.

• The qualification process is unpaid and involves multiple stages.

• Candidates must complete a short transcription test and achieve a minimum passing score of 90%.

• Candidates are required to register for the transcription test using a Gmail account.

• Successful completion of the project-specific qualification and demonstration of the necessary quality standards are essential for advancement to production.
