
Senior Vendor Relations Manager – Healthcare

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.
• Oversee relationships with third-party program partners, specifically Delegation partners.
• Manage vendor relations, including contract oversight, performance management, risk and compliance assessments, strategic vendor coordination, governance, and process management.
• Act as the primary account manager for designated vendors.
• Coordinate vendor utilization and workflows in collaboration with Health Plan and Operations departments.
• Provide monthly SLA performance dashboards and reports to Delegated entities.
• Address any issues related to assigned SLA performance.
• Develop and implement corrective action plans for vendors that fail to meet standards.
• Monitor, analyze, and report on vendor performance and identify improvement opportunities.
• Create and maintain vendor scorecards along with corresponding ratings and correction plans.
• Work with Medical Management, Member Services, and Provider Services to educate vendors on expectations, performance standards, and procedures.
• Organize and lead monthly meetings with Delegated entities, documenting discussions, issues, attendees, and action items.
• Investigate and resolve disputes related to claims and issues involving vendors, members, or providers.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure vendors align with business needs and objectives.
• Address database information requests and concerns related to providers.
• Ensure operational integrity and adherence to policies, procedures, state contracts, and guidelines.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience required.
• Over 7 years of experience working with or supporting Primary Care Providers.
• Experience in Account Management within the healthcare sector or a similar field.
• At least 3 years of experience in vendor management or procurement.
• Ability to build strong relationships with both internal stakeholders and external vendors.
• Proficient in presenting to executive-level teams within delegated entities.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship, both now and in the future.
