This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Deliver specialized clinical, technical, and product support for Medtronic’s vascular product line.
• Collaborate with physicians and care teams to enhance patient outcomes in peripheral arterial, venous, embolization, carotid, and fistula therapies.
• Assist sales representatives by providing coverage for critical cases that require technical assistance.
• Educate clients through individual training sessions, in-service programs, case support, and participation in conferences.
• Work alongside sales representatives, managers, and cross-functional teams to implement district business strategies and foster revenue growth.
• Provide timely technical and procedural assistance for urgent customer requests and complex cases.
• Establish strong relationships with physicians, administrators, clinicians, and key decision-makers.
• Identify customer needs, address concerns, and relay market feedback and product insights.
• Oversee inventory performance through audits, resolution of discrepancies, consignment support, and optimization of product availability.
• Coordinate product launches, inventory transitions, and field initiatives.
• Assist with inventory management, collection of purchase orders, training initiatives, and other operational functions.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• High School Diploma with a minimum of 8 years of work experience, or an associate's degree with at least 6 years, or a Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 4 years.
• Relevant work experience in healthcare, field sales, or in roles requiring complex mathematics, mechanical concepts, science, or computing skills.
• Candidates must reside within the designated Charlottesville/Roanoke territory.
• Willingness to travel to various customer accounts in the region up to 50% of the time.
• Must possess a valid driver's license, active insurance, and a driving record that complies with company standards.
• Ability to work and/or travel outside of standard business hours, including occasional evening and weekend shifts.
• Capability to lift up to 40 lbs. frequently using both hands.
• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for over 8 hours daily.
• Proficient in bending, stooping, squatting, and maintaining balance on a regular basis.
• Experience working in clinical settings with exposure to eye protection, infectious diseases, and radiation.
• Capable of wearing 7–9 lbs. of lead for extended durations.
• Proficient in utilizing computers and mobile devices.
• Vision capabilities essential for supporting patient care and field responsibilities.
• For degrees obtained outside the U.S., a degree that meets the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is mandatory.
