This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Deliver expert clinical, technical, and product assistance for Medtronic’s vascular solutions.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals and care teams to enhance patient outcomes across peripheral arterial, venous, embolization, carotid, and fistula treatments.
• Assist sales representatives by providing coverage for critical cases and offering technical guidance on safe and effective product usage.
• Educate clients through individualized training, in-service sessions, case support, and participation in conferences.
• Work alongside sales representatives, managers, and cross-functional teams to implement district business strategies and promote revenue growth.
• Offer prompt technical and procedural support for urgent customer requirements and complex situations.
• Cultivate relationships with physicians, administrators, clinicians, and key decision-makers.
• Recognize customer needs, address concerns, and relay market feedback and product insights.
• Oversee inventory performance through audits, resolving discrepancies, supporting consignment, and optimizing product availability.
• Coordinate product launches, inventory transitions, and field initiatives.
• Support inventory management, purchase order collection, training initiatives, and other operational tasks.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• High School Diploma with at least 8 years of experience in healthcare, field sales, or relevant experience involving complex mathematics, mechanical concepts, science, or computing; OR an associate's degree with a minimum of 6 years of such experience; OR a Bachelor's Degree with at least 4 years of such experience.
• Applicants must reside within the designated Charlottesville/Roanoke territory.
• Willingness to travel to various customer accounts within the region up to 50% of the time.
• Valid driver's license, active insurance, and a driving record that complies with company standards.
• Availability to work and/or travel outside regular business hours, including occasional evening and weekend shifts.
• Capability to lift up to 40 lbs. frequently using both hands.
• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for more than 8 hours daily, with regular bending, stooping, squatting, and maintaining balance.
• Capacity to work in clinical settings with exposure to eye protection, infectious diseases, and radiation.
• Ability to wear 7–9 lbs. of lead for prolonged periods.
• Proficiency in using computers and mobile devices, along with maintaining the necessary vision capabilities to support patient care and field responsibilities.
• Unrestricted U.S. work authorization at the time of hire and throughout employment.
• For bachelor's degrees obtained outside the United States, a degree that meets the criteria of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.
• Preferred: In-depth knowledge of medical terminology, medical procedures, and the medical device industry.
• Preferred: Strong project management skills and experience in program coordination.
• Preferred: Ability to manage and engage in multiple tasks/projects in a fast-paced environment while adhering to deadlines.
