Senior UX Researcher – Patient

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee research centered on the patient experience, from the initial discovery of Rula to the booking and participation in their first mental healthcare session.

• Gain insights into what fosters patient confidence and trust throughout the care journey.

• Spot opportunities and clarify ambiguous product inquiries.

• Convert patient insights and behavioral data into actionable recommendations that influence what Rula develops, tests, and prioritizes.

• Identify research inquiries and select suitable research methodologies.

• Manage studies from start to finish, including execution and synthesis of results.

• Guide product decisions using research outcomes.

• Take ownership of a product area independently.

• Collaborate with User Research, Product, Design, Data/Analytics, and Marketing teams.

• Propel measurable enhancements in the patient experience.

⛳️ Requirements

• More than 5 years of experience in UX Research.

• Proven expertise in qualitative, quantitative, and mixed-methods research methodologies.

• Capability to independently create and manage a comprehensive research program from start to finish.

• Experience in researching and enhancing acquisition, onboarding, activation, conversion, or other vital product journeys.

• A history of translating research findings into measurable product outcomes.

• Proficiency in delivering high-quality research swiftly and making informed trade-offs regarding methodology, sample size, and depth.

• Skill in transforming vague business and product questions into clear, decision-focused research strategies.

• Established ability to collaborate with Product, Design, Data/Analytics, and other stakeholders.

• Competence in synthesizing intricate qualitative and quantitative findings into coherent narratives for diverse audiences.

• Must reside in the United States; Rula is currently not hiring in Hawaii.

• Preferred qualifications include experience in multi-sided marketplaces, interconnected mobile and web products, longitudinal or ongoing measurement programs, acquisition and conversion, healthcare or mental health, and products where trust, confidence, or risk affect behavior.
