Senior UX Researcher

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Hawaii.

📋 Description

• We are seeking a Senior User Experience Researcher (Sr. UXR) to gain a profound understanding of the needs, motivations, and challenges faced by patients and providers, translating these insights into product experiences that facilitate easier access to mental health care.

• In this position, you will spearhead comprehensive research initiatives that guide product strategy and enhance various workflows throughout Rula. You will work closely with Product, Design, Engineering, and Data teams to ensure that decisions are based on substantial user insights and behavioral data.

• In addition to conducting studies, you will play a key role in shaping the influence of research on product development at Rula by identifying significant research opportunities, developing research roadmaps, and transforming signals from users, product analytics, and feedback into insights that direct product strategy.

• This position is perfect for individuals who excel in fast-paced environments, enjoy tackling complex human issues, and are enthusiastic about utilizing research to enhance connections with mental health care.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of User Research experience with proven success in building and scaling B2B SaaS, productivity tools, or operational platforms, along with a clear history of driving measurable impact on user retention, workflow efficiency, or task automation.

• The ability to articulate ambiguous product inquiries into clear, decision-focused research plans. Experience in linking research questions directly to "build / don’t build / what to build" decisions, as well as conducting research with audiences in a multi-sided marketplace, including consumers and professionals.

• The ability to balance speed, thoroughness, and product limitations, such as proposing feasible research plans within a one-month timeline.

• Experience in influencing product strategy through research.

• Proven track record of collaboration with PM, Design, Analytics, and other stakeholders. This includes aligning with PMs on decisions and risks, constructively challenging product direction, and converting insights into design principles.
