Senior Ultrasound Clinical Account Specialist, Cardiac Sonographer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Deliver expert clinical product and technical support, as well as training, to EP/IC physicians and their teams on AcuNav™ and SOUNDSTAR™ catheters.

• Offer clinical and technical guidance along with training on electrophysiology systems and catheter equipment, including CARTO®, CARTOSOUND™, CARTOMERGE™, and Stockert RF generator, during procedures.

• Educate clients about electrophysiology products and conduct in-service training sessions.

• Share best practices to enhance customer value.

• Utilize consultative selling methods to uncover sales opportunities within accounts.

• Raise awareness of electrophysiology solutions and assist Territory Sales Managers in connecting with key decision-makers.

• Organize and schedule activities to optimize customer case support.

• Collaborate with regional teams, Territory Managers, EP CAS, other ULS CAS, Marketing, Field Service Engineers, and Regional Business Directors.

• Maintain communication with external partners.

• Develop and share best practices with US Field Sales and Service colleagues.

• Build and strengthen customer relationships with physicians, nurses, technicians, clinical and hospital administrators, and staff.

• Keep updated on product instructions for use, best practices, technical troubleshooting, scientific literature, and new product developments.

• Respond effectively to requests in high-stress situations while maintaining composure and a focus on problem-solving.

• Engage in diagnostic discussions with internal and external stakeholders and devise solutions.

• Mentor new members of the electrophysiology commercial team as needed.

• Carry out other assigned responsibilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of a bachelor's degree, or 4 years of relevant professional work or military experience.

• At least 2 years of experience in a clinical echocardiography laboratory.

• Must possess and maintain certification as a Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) in adult or pediatric echocardiography.

• Must have and uphold advanced clinical knowledge in ultrasound and echocardiography.

• Maintain clinical awareness of the healthcare sector, disease states, and therapeutic as well as institutional trends.

• A valid driver's license issued in the United States is required.

• Advanced clinical understanding of cardiac ablation and cardio imaging is necessary.

• Technical expertise in electrophysiology technology and advancements is essential.

• Ability to travel up to 40% overnight locally, regionally, and nationally, occasionally with short notice.

• Capacity to work long hours in hospital laboratory settings, attend live patient cases, wear protective gear, and have variable schedules.

• May need to lift up to 60 lbs.

• Experience in Electrophysiology/Cath Lab or the EP/Cardiovascular Device Industry is highly preferred.

• Certification in CEPS (IBHRE), RCES, or RCIS is strongly preferred.

• Experience with complex technical systems or critical patient care environments is preferred.

• Proficient communication skills for effective and timely interaction with colleagues and patient care teams.

• Ability to work independently and adaptively in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities in high-pressure situations.

• Ability to convert extensive data into actionable insights.
