Senior Frontend Developer, all genders

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Develop and manage Contabo’s new product line.

• Make decisions regarding design, coding, and infrastructure based on product strategy and timelines.

• Create customer-facing interfaces for Contabo’s platform, primarily focusing on GUIs and also utilizing cloud-native open-source tools like Terraform and CLIs.

• Engage in open development with a significant presence.

• Collaborate closely with UX designers and build upon the work of API teams.

• Construct the new product from scratch, iterating rapidly and applying insights into the team's workflow.

• Standardize APIs and contribute to product design by integrating with design frameworks.

• Take part in on-call responsibilities.

• Actively enhance system redundancy and uptime.

• Join a new team dedicated to improving customer experience and product development.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive production experience with TypeScript 5.9, effectively utilizing its type system to mitigate bugs.

• Familiarity with Svelte 5, including client-side routing via svelte5-router; deep prior Svelte experience isn't necessary if strong TypeScript and experience with similar modern reactive frameworks are present.

• Proficient in building and consuming REST APIs, including the evolution of APIs.

• Experienced with Docker, Webpack 5, and PostCSS.

• Familiarity with Svelte Material UI (SMUI) or a similar component library.

• Experience with end-to-end testing frameworks like Playwright and/or Cypress.

• Knowledge of Keycloak.js or a comparable SSO/OAuth implementation.

• Proficient in English; German language skills are an advantage.

• Willingness to participate in on-call duties.
