Mid-Level Angular Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Create the user interface for a government application intended for public use.

• Develop and implement applications and modules utilizing Angular JS/TS.

• Offer patches and upgrades for current systems.

• Engage in system planning and the deployment of developments.

• Ensure compliance with software standards.

• Design graphical user interfaces to fulfill user requirements, adhering to US 508 standards.

• Prepare operating manuals and documentation for program development.

• Evaluate system capabilities and address inquiries regarding program objectives, output needs, data input acquisition, programming methods, and controls.

• Create additional modules using various application programming languages.

• Design and implement applications based on provided specifications.

• Maintain and update existing software applications.

• Assess system factors, such as input/output requirements, information flow, hardware/software needs, and alternative problem-solving approaches.

• Modify and sustain operational programs and procedures.

• Take part in code reviews to ensure compliance with established standards and specifications.

• Create or update program documentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree with over 5 years of relevant experience OR a MA/MS degree or higher with 3 years of relevant experience.

• Minimum of 5 years in software development.

• At least 2 years of experience in Angular development.

• Ability to obtain and maintain a USPTO Public Trust clearance.

• Proficient in Angular 17+.

• Skilled in JavaScript.

• Experience with TypeScript.

• Competent in CSS and Layouts.

• Knowledgeable in HTML 5 and DOM API.

• Familiar with Gitlab.

• Experience with Azure.

• Proficient in AWS.

• Experience working in an Agile environment.
