This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Generate new business through proactive calling, collaborative sales initiatives, and revenue enhancement.
• Conduct senior-level outreach to foster both new and existing client relationships.
• Lead strategic discussions regarding key issues in the treasury management sector, sharing best practices, insights, and recommendations.
• Promote the bank’s treasury management offerings and relay feedback to internal teams.
• Identify and oversee non-credit-related risks within customer portfolios.
• Assess and advise internal groups on the profitability of treasury services.
• Collaborate with relationship management teams to provide client recommendations.
• Oversee deposit relationships while acquiring new deposits.
• Manage the current client portfolio, execute relationship reviews, service clients, and enhance cross-selling opportunities.
• Create proposals, respond to RFPs, and coordinate the implementation of new clients and services.
• Represent treasury management solutions at client roundtables, industry events, in-person meetings, webinars, and through social media channels.
• Ensure adherence to relevant laws and regulations and complete all required compliance training.
• Stay informed about and comply with Flagstar’s compliance policies and procedures.
• Undertake special projects and additional responsibilities as needed.
• Bachelor’s degree (4 years or equivalent) or comparable work experience.
• Over 10 years of experience in a treasury sales capacity.
• In-depth knowledge of treasury management products and services.
• Comprehensive understanding of business cash flows, accounting processes, and financial optimization.
• Profound understanding of treasury management value propositions within corporate treasury settings.
• Strong understanding of UCC, Reg CC, Reg E, and relevant banking regulations.
• Exceptional sales and negotiation skills.
• Ability to communicate diplomatically at the senior executive level.
• Senior-level interactions with top clients and high-priority prospects.
• Professional verbal and written communication capabilities.
• Proven analytical skills along with creative and strategic problem-solving aptitude.
• Excellent time-management and organizational skills, with an ability to juggle multiple initiatives.
• Proficiency in preparing, presenting, and directing client proposals.
• Capability to mobilize internal networks and resources to address service challenges or devise solutions.
• Ability to establish and sustain effective stakeholder relationships.
• Willingness to travel 50% of the time to client offices, prospects, branches, and various functions.
• Moderate physical exertion and stamina required, including standing, sitting, walking, driving, or occasional lifting.
• Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designation is highly preferred.
