Senior Training Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +37 more states.

📋 Description

• Deliver engaging hands-on instruction in both virtual and classroom settings for cloud software technologies.

• Assist with ongoing technical and end-user training initiatives within Global Education.

• Customize training sessions to accommodate different student proficiency levels, ranging from end users to system administrators in the public safety sector.

• Conduct both in-person and virtual training utilizing live customer and/or demo software environments, comprehensive documentation, and minimal slide presentations.

• Educate agency customers and personnel on the operation and usage of complex software products and services.

• Provide virtual and/or on-site training for Motorola CommandCentral software and specified third-party software integrations.

• Utilize classroom techniques for training delivery, including platforms such as Zoom, Google Meet, and Google Slides.

• Fulfill department reporting requirements within established standards and timeframes.

• Manage communication with customers and internal stakeholders concerning training schedules and project updates.

• Assemble training and technical documentation and course materials for both new and existing products or services.

• Assess knowledge retention and the effectiveness of training programs.

• Work under the guidance of the CommandCentral Training Team Manager.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent qualification.

• A minimum of 1 year of experience with public safety products.

• A valid driver's license is required.

• Must be able to secure background clearance as mandated by government clients.

• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. on an indefinite basis is essential.

• Successful completion of a rigorous fingerprint background check administered by Motorola Solutions Inc. customers is necessary.

• Willingness to travel frequently, up to 50%, including domestic and occasional international trips.

• FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certification is preferred.

• Preferred: 1+ years of experience with Motorola Solutions Customer Software.

• Preferred: 3+ years of experience in technical training.

• Preferred: 3+ years of experience in public safety.
