This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Provide oversight on title issues identified within title commitments to ensure that closing agents are addressing title matters accurately.
• Review and uphold the policies and procedures governing the title curative process.
• Handle escalations from clients, closing agents, or other team members in a professional and timely manner.
• Ensure adherence to both internal and external audit requirements as stipulated by the client.
• Manage a portfolio of intricate title issues, including defects concerning legal descriptions, outstanding interests, mechanic's liens, judgments, and other complex title defects.
• Organize aged title review meetings with title companies and attorneys, offering guidance on title resolution.
• Provide training for Title Officers and Title Specialists regarding title curative steps toward resolution.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to multitask in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Problem-solving abilities; critical thinking skills are essential.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Effective communication abilities; capable of managing a high volume of emails.
• A team player who is organized and can meet strict timelines.
• An Associate or College Degree with a focus on Real Estate is preferred.
• 3–5 years of relevant work experience is preferred.
