Senior Title Examiner – Complex Projects

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Review the chain of title for underlying real estate in condominium projects and individual condominium interests.

• Conduct title examinations on intricate title orders that demand a high degree of expertise.

• Abstract and evaluate mortgages, liens, judgments, easements, vital statistics, plat and map books, ownership, legal restrictions, legal descriptions, and the completeness of records.

• Create title products in accordance with procedural guidelines.

• Provide underwriting interpretations within established parameters.

• Mentor, guide, and train less experienced members of the team.

• Oversee special projects as assigned by the department manager.

• Interact with clients and customers.

• Serve as a resource for special projects.

• Function independently without direct reports.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in title examination in Arizona, California, and Nevada.

• Detailed title examination experience in Residential, Commercial, or Home Builder sectors.

• Extensive experience with easement and declaration reviews.

• Ability to analyze real estate project sales.

• Over 7 years of experience in both title examination and title searching.

• Title Agent license is preferred but not mandatory.

• Familiarity with legal terminology used in title documents.

• Proficient in reading and interpreting legal descriptions related to title orders.

• Commercial experience is an advantage.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong research skills.

• Advanced problem-solving abilities.

• Capacity to perform well under pressure and adapt to changing demands.

• Solid administrative capabilities.

• In-depth knowledge of industry and company operating systems, tools, and applications.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
