This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Drive demand for BMS medications within the cardiovascular portfolio for suitable patients.
• Promote approved uses of BMS products within a designated territory or region, achieving or surpassing sales targets in a compliant manner.
• Clearly communicate the clinical and scientific rationale for product usage in appropriate patient populations.
• Establish and maintain professional credibility with regional thought leaders, community physicians, healthcare professionals (HCPs), office staff, medical groups, and other patient-care stakeholders.
• Deliver exceptional customer experiences through enhanced scientific discussions that align with product labeling.
• Sustain and expand scientific expertise in assigned products and relevant therapeutic areas.
• Develop and execute comprehensive territory and account plans.
• Utilize tools like SOPHIA to gain insights and inform call strategies dynamically.
• Offer feedback on tool usage for ongoing improvement.
• Conduct in-office presentations, including lunch-and-learns, and share product-related scientific information with HCPs.
• Organize external speaker events, select approved speakers, and manage scheduling and logistics.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge on emerging data for approved indications.
• Utilize Medical on Call to address unsolicited questions and complex technical inquiries.
• Collaborate with other field teams to ensure a robust HCP customer experience.
• Collect and share pertinent customer insights internally with relevant stakeholders.
• Adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, and BMS policies.
• Dedicate substantial time in the field interacting with external customers.
• Advanced scientific degree and/or a minimum of 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical or biotechnology sectors, preferably in healthcare sales, MSL, HCP, or nursing roles.
• Ability to accurately and persuasively convey scientific or clinical data to physicians.
• Proven experience in building and sustaining strong credibility with key customers, office personnel, and others within the customer influence network.
• Experience in cardiovascular medicine preferred.
• Demonstrated skills in account management, superior selling capabilities, and a proven record of sales performance that meets or exceeds goals.
• Proven ability to work effectively across functions.
• Strong selling and promotional abilities evidenced by a successful performance record.
• A customer-focused mindset with the ability to drive business outcomes.
• Experience in identifying, engaging, and establishing credibility with customers throughout the patient care journey.
• Understanding of the patient journey and a patient-centered approach.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for conveying scientific and clinical data.
• Strong commitment to learning and a passion for science; ability to stay informed about the latest data.
• Capability to analyze prescribing patterns, market trends, HCP preferences, clinical data, and BMS product data.
• Proficiency in segmenting HCPs and tailoring communication and product presentations accordingly.
• Ability to leverage CE^3 for generating insights and performing dynamic call planning.
• Proficient in using technology and digital communication channels effectively.
• Competent in using CE^3 and other software or CRM tools to collect, enter, and manage quality data in compliance with regulations.
• Ability to effectively utilize Medical on Call technology.
• Strong business acumen to comprehend market drivers and develop, implement, and adjust business plans.
• A history of balancing individual drive with a collaborative attitude.
• High integrity and sound judgment to navigate role requirements in compliance with regulations.
