This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.
• Promote authorized indications of BMS products within a designated territory to achieve or surpass sales targets in a compliant manner.
• Generate demand for BMS pharmaceuticals by delivering a balanced clinical and scientific rationale.
• Maintain scientific proficiency in the assigned products and therapeutic areas.
• Develop and execute territory and account plans.
• Utilize SOPHIA to extract insights and guide call plans.
• Present sanctioned scientific information to healthcare professionals (HCPs) through in-office presentations and lunch-and-learn sessions.
• Organize external speaker programs, which include selecting speakers, scheduling, and managing logistics.
• Stay informed on emerging data relevant to approved indications.
• Engage with Medical on Call for unsolicited inquiries and complex technical questions.
• Work collaboratively with other field teams to provide exceptional customer experiences.
• Collect and disseminate customer insights internally.
• Establish and sustain professional credibility with regional thought leaders, physicians, HCPs, office personnel, and other stakeholders.
• Emphasize the safe and appropriate use of BMS products while achieving business results and performance objectives.
• Spend a significant amount of time in the field with external customers.
• Adhere to laws, regulations, and BMS policies.
• An advanced scientific degree and/or a minimum of 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical or biotechnology sectors as a healthcare sales representative, MSL, HCP, or nurse.
• Capability to communicate scientific or clinical data accurately and persuasively to physicians.
• Proven experience in building and maintaining credibility with key customers, office staff, and customer influence networks.
• Cardiovascular experience is preferred.
• Strong account management abilities and superior selling skills.
• Documented sales performance history of meeting or exceeding targets.
• Ability to work effectively across various functions.
• Excellent selling and promotional abilities.
• Proficiency in analyzing prescribing patterns, market trends, HCP preferences, and clinical data.
• Competence in using CE^3 and other software or CRM tools.
• Ability to utilize Medical on Call technology.
• Strong business acumen, learning agility, integrity, and sound judgment.
• Qualified Driver requirements: at least 21 years old, a valid driver's license in good standing issued by the state of residence, and an acceptable driving risk level.
