This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Promote the authorized uses of BMS products within a specified territory or region to achieve or surpass assigned sales objectives in a compliant manner.

• Generate demand for BMS medications by articulating the clinical and scientific justification for their use in suitable patients.

• Continuously enhance scientific knowledge related to assigned products and therapeutic areas.

• Develop and execute comprehensive territory and account strategies.

• Utilize tools like SOPHIA to extract insights and dynamically adjust call plans.

• Provide feedback on tools to leadership for ongoing enhancement.

• Present approved scientific materials and publications to healthcare professionals (HCPs) with medical accuracy.

• Conduct in-office presentations, including lunch-and-learns, to discuss product information consistent with labeling.

• Organize external speaker events, including the selection of approved speakers, scheduling, and logistical support.

• Maintain a strong understanding of emerging data relevant to approved indications.

• Utilize Medical on Call to address unsolicited inquiries and complex technical questions.

• Collaborate with other field teams to ensure an optimal customer experience for HCPs.

• Collect and internally share customer insights with appropriate stakeholders.

• Coordinate with BMS functions to timely and scientifically address HCP needs.

• Prioritize the safe and appropriate use of BMS products while meeting business and performance goals.

• Spend a significant portion of time in the field engaging with external customers.


⛳️ Requirements

• Advanced scientific degree and/or at least 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology sector, particularly in healthcare sales, MSL, HCP, or nursing.

• Ability to convey scientific or clinical information accurately and persuasively to assist physicians in serving their patients effectively.

• Proven experience in building and maintaining strong credibility with key customers, office personnel, and others within the customer influence network.

• Experience in cardiovascular medicine is preferred.

• Demonstrated skills in account management, superior selling capabilities, and a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.

• Ability to work effectively across different functions.

• Strong selling and promotional skills supported by a history of performance.

• Capacity to drive business results.

• Experience in identifying, engaging, and establishing credibility with customers throughout the patient care journey.

• Demonstrated skills in account management and a problem-solving mindset.

• Understanding of the patient journey and ability to tailor engagement and deliver customized messages.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills for scientific and clinical information.

• Strong learning orientation and passion for science.

• Proficient in analyzing prescribing patterns, market trends, HCP preferences, and clinical data.

• Ability to categorize HCPs based on preferences and relevant considerations.

• Proficient in using CE^3 for generating insights and conducting dynamic call planning.

• Ability to leverage digital communication tools, CE^3, CRM systems, and Medical on Call technologies.

• Strong business acumen to understand market drivers and to develop, implement, and modify business plans.

• High integrity and sound judgment to operate compliantly in accordance with BMS policies and procedures.

• Must be at least 21 years old.

• A valid driver’s license in good standing issued by the state of residence.

• Driving risk level must be acceptable to the Company.

• Must meet Company standards to be classified as a “Qualified Driver” for operating a company vehicle.
