Senior Therapeutic Advisor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands.

📋 Description

• Manage and expand the customer base in the Utrecht region, ’t Gooi, Almere, and Lelystad

• Act as a diabetes specialist for hospitals and general practitioners

• Develop and implement the regional plan in collaboration with a cross-functional team

• Prioritize time and budget allocation based on the regional plan

• Coordinate with Sales, Marketing, B2B, Medical Science Liaison, and nursing consultants

• Discuss with accounts and HCPs which patients can benefit from medications

• Provide accurate scientific information and collaborate on solutions for patient care

• Organize and follow up on regional scientific activities and keep track of results

• Attend national conferences

• Set up and manage projects from A to Z, independently, with HCPs, and in cross-functional teams

• Reach customers through an omnichannel approach, including F2F, digital solutions, and scientific articles

• Identify and leverage market needs and opportunities

• Keep therapeutic knowledge up to date

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree

• Experience in a similar role within the pharmaceutical industry — required

• Experience and network in Cardiometabolic Health, both in hospitals and primary care — preferred

• Reside in the Netherlands, specifically in the Central Netherlands region

• Fluent in Dutch and English, both spoken and written

• Valid driving license (Category B)

• Ability to translate scientific knowledge into a clinically meaningful context

• Strong relationship-building skills with healthcare professionals

• Ability to work independently, with discipline and organization, including managing your own schedule, budget, and follow-up

• Capable of identifying unmet market needs and bringing them forward internally

• Actively maintain knowledge in the therapeutic area

• Work with integrity, in accordance with Lilly procedures and Dutch laws and regulations

• Willingness to attend evening meetings
