Senior Test Engineer – Freelancer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Greece, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Establish the testing scope for each product and release.

• Collaborate with Test Engineers to determine testing strategies.

• Review and develop test scenarios.

• Organize testing activities and monitor progress and strategies.

• Ensure alignment of priorities within the team.

• Facilitate coordination with all relevant parties regarding testing environments and tools.

• Evaluate requirements and design documentation.

• Generate test scenarios, test cases, and test data.

• Implement test case automation.

• Evaluate product quality through test execution and outcome reporting.

• Continuously seek opportunities to enhance product quality and testing methodologies.

• Utilize test analysis and automation patterns to guarantee requirement coverage.

• Enable prompt and dependable test execution.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

• At least 7 years of relevant professional experience.

• Proficient in English, both written and verbal.

• Comprehensive understanding of software testing standards and methodologies.

• Experience in test planning, scenario design, test case creation, and execution.

• Skilled in API testing using Postman, Kreya, or similar tools.

• Background in automated testing and system integration testing.

• Strong knowledge of SQL and databases.

• Familiarity with containerized environments and observability tools.

• Understanding of complex enterprise system integration.

• Knowledge of defect management, including prioritization and root cause analysis.

• Experience with test and defect management tools.

• Ability to comprehend business requirements and establish testing priorities.

• Experience overseeing User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

• Capable of effective communication with both technical and business stakeholders.

• Familiarity with Agile software development and testing methodologies.

• Ability to thrive in an international and multicultural setting.

• Ability to upload a CV in English.
