Senior Software Development Engineer in Test – Temporary

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design and sustain automated testing scripts and frameworks for user interface functionalities.

• Collaborate with UX designers and software developers to grasp requirements and guarantee thorough test coverage.

• Conduct exploratory testing to uncover usability challenges and potential enhancements in UI/UX.

• Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline to facilitate rapid feedback loops.

• Evaluate test outcomes, determine the root causes of failures, and communicate findings to the development team.

• Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of QA processes and testing methodologies.

• Remain updated on trends and tools in test automation and UX testing.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Demonstrated experience in software test automation, particularly in UI testing.

• Proficient programming skills in Java, Python, or JavaScript.

• Experience with test automation tools and frameworks like Selenium, Cypress, or TestCafe.

• Understanding of UX/UI design principles and user-centered design.

• Familiarity with CI/CD processes and associated tools such as Jenkins and Git.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team setting.

• Experience in Agile/Scrum development environments (preferred).

• Knowledge of performance testing and tools like JMeter or LoadRunner (preferred).

• Understanding of accessibility testing and WCAG standards (preferred).
