Senior Test Engineer – Enterprise Heat Project

📋 Description

• Review and assess system specifications and user stories to gain insights into software requirements.

• Assist in designing comprehensive and well-organized test documentation.

• Set up testing environments, including all necessary software and hardware components.

• Utilize test design techniques to develop robust test cases that enhance test coverage.

• Execute manual functional, integration, and regression testing.

• Identify, log, and monitor defects using a bug tracking system.

• Conduct re-tests to confirm the resolution of defects and improvements.

• Validate test outcomes against acceptance criteria and user expectations.

• Relay test progress, results, and issues to appropriate stakeholders.

• Create detailed testing reports and offer insights on usability, performance, and overall software quality.

• Evaluate existing processes, pinpoint areas for enhancement, and modify workflows to align with project requirements.

• Collaborate with the team to ensure the high quality and smooth integration of new features.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Manual QA Engineer.

• Strong understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and various testing methodologies.

• Familiarity with bug tracking and test management systems.

• Solid grasp of functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing practices.

• Good knowledge of Agile testing methodologies and environments (Agile, Scrum).

• Experience with test management tools such as TestRail, Zephyr, or similar platforms.

• Upper-Intermediate proficiency in English.

• Basic understanding of scripting or programming languages is advantageous.

• Basic experience with Unix platforms is a plus.
