Senior Test Engineer – Automation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland, +3 more countries.

📋 Description

• Engage in the complete QA lifecycle, from the analysis of requirements to the execution of tests.

• Evaluate business requirements and documentation to comprehend business logic.

• Assist in test planning and ensure sufficient test coverage.

• Collaborate with engineering and product teams on defining requirements and acceptance criteria.

• Develop and sustain test suites, automation frameworks, and test harnesses.

• Conduct testing for blockchain integrations, smart contracts, REST APIs, JSON-RPC, MCP servers, and various blockchain-related endpoints.

• Execute functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.

• Operate within intricate distributed systems and AWS-based infrastructure.

• Incorporate automated testing practices into CI/CD pipelines.

• Analyze failures across distributed systems and blockchain integrations.

• Contribute to the creation of technical documentation and quality reports.

• Aid in enhancing testing processes and methodologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in QA/SDET roles with practical experience throughout the entire testing lifecycle.

• Background in backend and non-UI-focused test automation.

• Experience in analyzing requirements and documentation to grasp business logic.

• Proficient in writing and executing functional, regression, and integration tests.

• Skilled in testing REST APIs and backend services.

• Understanding of blockchain systems and their integrations.

• Familiarity with smart contract testing and blockchain validation.

• Proficient in TypeScript and Node.js.

• Strong grasp of SDLC and STLC.

• Experience in integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.

• Experience with distributed systems and AWS environments.

• Knowledge of MongoDB or PostgreSQL.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Demonstrated ownership and accountability for assigned quality deliverables.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills within Agile development teams.

• Proficient in English at an Upper-Intermediate level or higher.

• Experience with Go (Golang) is a plus.

• Familiarity with Foundry, Hardhat, or other EVM testing frameworks is a plus.

• Experience with Ethereum (Solidity) or Tezos (LIGO) is advantageous.

• Knowledge of Layer 2 and blockchain protocol testing is desirable.

• Experience testing asynchronous messaging systems such as AWS SNS/SQS or Azure Service Bus is beneficial.

• Familiarity with Kubernetes and Azure is advantageous.

• Experience with observability-driven testing is a plus.

• Knowledge of testing MCP protocols is desirable.

• Experience with performance and load testing is beneficial.
