QA Automation Specialist, JavaScript / TypeScript

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain automated end-to-end (E2E) tests.

• Implement testing scenarios using BDD patterns and Gherkin (Given-When-Then).

• Work with the Page Object Pattern and service patterns like commonService.

• Configure and execute tests on web applications and mobile devices for Android and iOS.

• Integrate and manage test executions using Sauce Labs and Galatea.

• Set up capabilities for various web environments and devices.

• Manage test cases using Jira and Xray.

• Create and review test plans and utilize JQL queries.

• Collaborate with Git, Bitbucket, and/or GitHub.

• Execute and manage scripts using Node.js and npm.

• Work with mocking tools such as BTGE mocker.

• Analyze and automate applications built on Web Components and microfrontends.

• Work with the DOM, CSS selectors, data-test-id, and Shadow DOM.

• Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure application quality and stability.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient experience with JavaScript / TypeScript.

• Experience in automating E2E tests.

• Knowledge of ACIS, WebdriverIO, or Cucumber.

• Experience working with BDD and Gherkin syntax.

• Familiarity with the Page Object Pattern and service patterns.

• Experience in testing Android and iOS applications.

• Knowledge of Sauce Labs and/or Galatea.

• Experience with Jira and Xray.

• Familiarity with Test Plans and JQL.

• Experience with Git and Bitbucket and/or GitHub repositories.

• Knowledge of Node.js and npm.

• Experience with mocking tools.

• Familiarity with architecture based on Web Components.

• Experience or knowledge of Lit, Polymer, Cells / Spherica.

• Familiarity with microfrontends.

• Advanced handling of the DOM and CSS selectors.

• Experience working with data-test-id, Shadow DOM, and wrappers.

• Experience in web and mobile application automation projects, corporate automation frameworks, CI/CD processes and tools, agile development and QA teams, analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, teamwork, and communication will be valued.
