• Design, implement, sustain, and execute both manual and automated tests across Unreal, Unity, and various other environments.
• Collaborate with technical teams to establish acceptance criteria and create in-engine scenarios that validate agent behavior, task performance, content setups, and configuration modifications.
• Construct reusable game- and engine-specific test harnesses for scenario setup, reset, execution, outcome assessment, and diagnostics.
• Integrate tests with shared infrastructure, facilitating local and distributed execution, CI workflows, and both headless and rendered runs.
• Conduct regression and exploratory testing, investigate root causes, verify fixes, and transform defects into regression coverage.
• Enhance testability through game-side tooling, logging, telemetry, and instrumentation.
• Create dashboards and reports that track coverage, defect trends, build health, and readiness.
• Establish practices for defect reporting, triage, prioritization support, and lifecycle tracking.
• Collaborate closely with Game Technology, Platform, Agents, and ML teams, alongside engineering, design, product, and leadership stakeholders.
• An AI-first mindset in engineering, with practical experience using AI tools for development, testing, debugging, or analysis; actively explores new capabilities and takes ownership of quality.
• Background in game quality, quality design, technical QA, software quality engineering, gameplay systems, tools, automation, or a related discipline, with significant hands-on test development experience.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Unreal, Unity, or similar game-engine environments; deep expertise in one engine and the capability to work with additional integrations.
• Proficient programming skills suitable for game-engine development, such as C++ or C#.
• Proven ability to create and sustain reusable test harnesses, automation frameworks, or developer tools.
• Experience in designing, implementing, and executing manual, automated, regression, functional, integration, and end-to-end tests for complex software or gameplay systems.
• Ability to create, debug, and maintain in-engine test scenarios using engine code, Blueprints, scripting, editor utilities, automation frameworks, validation tools, or equivalent systems.
