Senior Test Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Develop, design, and implement both manual and automated testing scenarios and scripts.

• Conduct functional, regression, integration, performance, and security testing.

• Identify, log, and monitor defects while evaluating the outcomes of each testing cycle.

• Assist the Product Owner in establishing acceptance criteria and validating user stories.

• Engage in requirements reviews, sprints, UAT sessions, and various Agile ceremonies.

• Evaluate non-functional requirements, particularly focusing on performance and security.

• Detect vulnerabilities and perform validations adhering to OWASP best practices.

• Utilize tools for test automation, performance testing, test management, and test execution.

• Develop automated scripts and manage variable data sets (datapools).

• Generate test documentation, including plans, test cases, evidence, and test data sets.

• Define target test items and establish suitable strategies for each testing cycle.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in Software Quality Assurance and Testing.

• Proficient in both manual and automated testing.

• Familiarity with functional, regression, integration, performance, and security testing.

• Understanding of OWASP and methods for identifying vulnerabilities.

• Experience with tools for test automation and performance testing.

• Knowledge of creating scripts and executing them automatically using datapools.

• Proven track record in preparing test documentation.

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.

• Possess an analytical, investigative, and quality-focused mindset.

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related discipline.

• Experience in automating tests for web, mobile, or API applications.

• Knowledge of performance testing tools.

• Understanding of application security testing.

• Experience integrating automated tests within CI/CD pipelines.

• Familiarity with test and defect management tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, or equivalent platforms.

• Knowledge of APIs and tools for service testing.

• Certifications in Software Quality Assurance, such as ISTQB, are a plus.
