Senior IT Quality Analyst – QA

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Assist in defining and implementing quality testing strategies for software development initiatives.

• Organize, create, and carry out both manual and automated test cases and scenarios.

• Conduct functional, regression, performance, and security testing to guarantee the quality of deliverables.

• Recognize, document, and monitor defects and inconsistencies in collaboration with development teams.

• Engage in the initial phases of projects by reviewing requirements and documentation to ensure quality from the start of development (Shift Left Testing).

• Prepare and evaluate test plans, test cases, and reports on test results.

• Analyze test outcomes and provide suggestions for enhancing system quality.

• Collaborate with Development, Product, and Operations teams to ensure deliverables align with business requirements.

• Provide support and mentorship to junior and mid-level professionals by sharing best practices in software quality.

• Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of Quality Assurance (QA) processes, methodologies, and tools.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

• Strong experience in Software Quality Assurance (QA).

• Proficient in designing, executing, and overseeing manual and automated tests.

• Experience with functional, regression, integration, performance, and security testing.

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum and/or Kanban).

• Proven track record in identifying, documenting, and tracking defects.

• Experience in preparing test plans, test cases, and reports on test results.

• Proficient with test management and bug-tracking tools.

• Analytical abilities to identify risks, failures, and opportunities for process improvement.

• Technical English proficiency preferred.

• Spanish language skills are an advantage.

• Knowledge of Shift Left Testing practices is preferred.

• Experience with test automation is preferred.

• Experience in mentoring and developing QA professionals is preferred.

• Background in software development projects within Agile environments is preferred.

• Certifications related to Software Quality, Testing, or Agile Processes are preferred.
