
Senior Territory Representative, Companion Animal

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey, +1 more state.
• Engage directly with customers at veterinary clinics, shelter facilities, and corporate accounts.
• Recognize and comprehend customer requirements while promoting the Companion Animal product line of the Animal Health division.
• Assist in pull-through activities to reinforce the Animal Health division's reputation for delivering value and technical innovation.
• Convey the product offerings in relevant, tailored, and impactful manners.
• Act as the main contact for designated customers, establishing relationships with key personnel and decision-makers.
• Formulate customer strategies, territory plans, and account management plans.
• Collaborate with National Account Managers, the Corporate Account Team, and Distribution Field Partners on significant accounts and corporate-owned clinics.
• Work together with species teams to deepen understanding of the Animal Health product range.
• Share insights with regional team members to encourage growth and development.
• Review monthly sales data and manage expenditures according to budgetary constraints.
• Discover programs and services to meet customer needs while offering education and training opportunities.
• Collaborate with leadership and Field Professional Services to create and implement customer offerings.
• Stay informed about Animal Health products, industry trends, and the competitive landscape.
• Relay information regarding customer, industry, product, and market trends throughout the organization.
• Set and achieve learning and development goals.
• High school diploma with a minimum of 10 years of sales or equivalent experience, OR a bachelor's degree with at least 5 years of sales experience.
• Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and presentation abilities.
• Strong motivation and focus on achieving measurable and tangible outcomes.
• Dedication to teamwork and collaboration.
• Capability to independently grasp customers' shifting needs and expectations.
• Proficient use of selling techniques while managing multiple customers/accounts effectively.
• Ability to independently identify, develop, and manage a variety of accounts within a territory, including complex accounts.
• Competent computer skills, including proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and iPad usage.
• Capacity to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Willingness to travel overnight and engage in some weekend activities.
• Sales experience and/or background in the Animal Health Industry is preferred.
• Familiarity with animal health biological and pharmaceutical products is preferred.
• Understanding or prior experience with Distribution is advantageous.
• Proficiency in multiple languages, especially Spanish, is preferred.
• A valid driving license is required.
