Senior Territory Manager, Eyecare

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Achieve sales performance, brand KPIs, financial objectives, marketing goals, and related targets.

• Develop precall strategies utilizing SMART objectives and conduct postcall assessments to enhance sales effectiveness.

• Address objections, misunderstandings, and concerns; establish logical calls to action to finalize sales inquiries.

• Attend to customer needs, expectations, and challenges to foster trusted relationships and secure mutually beneficial agreements.

• Create and implement call plans to meet call metrics and optimize coverage and frequency with key clients.

• Gain insights into customer needs, the territory market landscape, competitors, market segments/dynamics, accounts, disease states, products, and sales expertise.

• Disseminate market intelligence among infield, brand, and sales management teams.

• Differentiate AbbVie’s value proposition when engaging with assigned healthcare providers.

• Identify, cultivate, and maintain relationships with disease state experts and speakers/advocates to enhance brand performance.


⛳️ Requirements

• Any mandatory certification requirements as stipulated by the respective country’s laws and/or regulations (if applicable).

• A bachelor's degree in biological sciences, pharmacy, business-related field, or an equivalent qualification.

• Demonstrated history of success in sales.

• Strong presentation skills.

• Comprehensive knowledge of scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive aspects.

• Robust business acumen.

• Proficient in the use of business tools.

• Strategic and critical thinking abilities.

• Capability to recognize customer styles/behaviors and tailor the selling approach accordingly.

• Ability to function effectively within a matrix environment.

• Proven success in sales performance within relevant therapeutic areas is preferred.

• Experience in the commercial pharmaceutical industry, including physician/account-based selling, training, managed healthcare, or marketing, is preferred.

• Proficiency in the English language, both verbal and written, is preferred for non-English-speaking countries.
