This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Achieve sales performance, brand KPIs, financial goals, marketing objectives, and other associated commercial aims.
• Develop pre-call strategies utilizing SMART objectives and conduct post-call assessments to enhance sales outcomes.
• Address objections, clarify misunderstandings, and resolve concerns while securing actionable steps to finalize sales conversations.
• Meet customer needs and expectations, foster trustworthy relationships, and reach mutually advantageous agreements.
• Create and implement call plans that meet target metrics while optimizing coverage and frequency for key clients.
• Gain insights into customer needs, the market landscape, competitors, market segments, accounts, disease areas, products, clinical information, and sales expertise.
• Communicate market intelligence with the field team, brand team, and sales manager to ensure strategic alignment and foresee market shifts.
• Distinguish AbbVie’s value proposition to the assigned healthcare providers.
• Identify, cultivate, and sustain relationships with disease-state experts and speakers/advocates to enhance brand performance.
• Any necessary governmental and/or legal certifications as required by applicable country laws and regulations, if relevant.
• A Bachelor's degree in biological sciences, pharmacy, business-related fields, or an equivalent qualification.
• A proven history of success in sales.
• Strong presentation abilities.
• Extensive knowledge of scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive landscapes.
• Robust business acumen.
• Proficient in the use of business tools.
• Capable of strategic and critical thinking.
• Ability to recognize customer styles/behaviors and swiftly adapt the sales approach accordingly.
• Competent in operating effectively within a matrix environment.
• Demonstrated sales success in relevant therapeutic areas is preferred.
• Experience in the commercial pharmaceutical industry, including physician/account-based selling, training, managed healthcare, or marketing, is preferred.
• Proficiency in English, both spoken and written, is preferred for non-English-speaking countries.
