Senior Territory Manager, Eyecare

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Achieve sales performance, brand KPIs, financial targets, marketing goals, and other objectives.

• Develop pre-call plans utilizing SMART objectives and conduct post-call evaluations to enhance sales effectiveness.

• Address objections, misunderstandings, and concerns while securing logical calls to action to finalize sales calls.

• Attend to customer needs, expectations, and challenges to foster trusted relationships and reach mutually beneficial agreements.

• Create and implement call plans that meet call metrics and optimize coverage and frequency for key customers.

• Gain insights into customer needs, the market landscape, competitors, market segments/dynamics, accounts, disease states, products, clinical information, and sales expertise.

• Communicate market intelligence with field teams, brand management, and sales management.

• Distinguish AbbVie's value proposition with assigned healthcare providers.

• Identify, cultivate, and maintain relationships with disease-state experts and speakers/advocates to enhance brand performance.


⛳️ Requirements

• Any governmental and/or legal certification requirements as mandated by the respective country's laws and/or regulations (if applicable).

• Bachelor’s degree in biological sciences, pharmacy, business-related field, or an equivalent qualification.

• Demonstrated success in sales with strong presentation skills.

• Comprehensive knowledge of scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive aspects.

• Strong business acumen and adeptness in utilizing business tools.

• Capable of strategic and critical thinking.

• Ability to recognize customer styles/behaviors and swiftly adapt the selling approach accordingly.

• Effective operation in a matrix environment.

• Proven success in sales performance within relevant therapeutic areas is preferred.

• Experience in the commercial pharmaceutical industry, including physician/account-based selling, training, managed healthcare, or marketing, is preferred.

• Proficiency in the English language, both verbal and written, is preferred for non-English-speaking countries.
