Senior Territory Manager, Eyecare

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Achieve sales performance, brand KPIs, financial objectives, marketing goals, and related targets.

• Develop pre-call strategies utilizing SMART objectives and perform post-call assessments to enhance sales effectiveness.

• Address objections, misunderstandings, and concerns, and secure logical calls to action to successfully conclude sales discussions.

• Attend to customer needs, expectations, and challenges to foster trusted relationships and reach mutually beneficial agreements.

• Formulate and implement call strategies that align with call metrics and maximize coverage and frequency for key clients.

• Gain insights into customer requirements, market dynamics, competitors, market segments, accounts, diseases, products, clinical issues, and sales processes.

• Disseminate market intelligence to the field team, brand team, and sales manager.

• Distinguish AbbVie’s value proposition with designated healthcare providers.

• Identify, nurture, and sustain disease-state experts and advocates to enhance brand performance.


⛳️ Requirements

• Any governmental and/or legal mandatory certification requirements as per applicable country laws and regulations, if necessary.

• Bachelor’s degree in biological sciences, pharmacy, business-related field, or an equivalent qualification.

• Demonstrated history of success in sales.

• Strong presentation abilities.

• Comprehensive knowledge of scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive landscapes.

• Robust business acumen.

• Proficient in utilizing business tools.

• Strategic and analytical thinking skills.

• Capability to identify customer styles/behaviors and swiftly adapt the sales approach accordingly.

• Ability to function effectively within a matrix environment.

• Proven sales achievements in relevant therapeutic areas preferred.

• Experience in the commercial pharmaceutical industry, including physician/account-based selling, training, managed healthcare, or marketing, preferred.

• Proficiency in the English language, both spoken and written, is preferred for non-English-speaking regions.
