This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Achieve sales performance, brand KPIs, financial objectives, marketing goals, and other related targets.
• Develop pre-call strategies utilizing SMART objectives and conduct post-call assessments to enhance sales effectiveness.
• Manage objections, clarify misunderstandings, and address concerns to secure decisive actions that lead to successful sales closures.
• Address customer needs, expectations, and challenges to foster trustworthy customer relationships and reach mutually beneficial agreements.
• Design and implement call plans that meet call metrics while maximizing coverage and frequency for key clients.
• Gain insights into customer requirements, the market landscape of the territory, competitors, market segments, dynamics, accounts, diseases, products, clinical information, and sales expertise.
• Disseminate market intelligence to field teams, brand managers, and sales managers to foresee changes and refine brand strategy and execution.
• Highlight AbbVie’s unique value proposition to designated healthcare providers.
• Identify, cultivate, and maintain relationships with disease-state experts and speakers/advocates to enhance brand performance.
• Any mandatory certification requirements as dictated by the laws and regulations of the respective country (if applicable).
• Bachelor’s degree in biological sciences, pharmacy, business-related field, or a comparable discipline.
• Demonstrated success in sales.
• Strong presentation skills.
• Comprehensive scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive knowledge.
• Robust business acumen.
• Proficient in utilizing business tools.
• Capable of strategic and critical thinking.
• Ability to recognize customer styles/behaviors and swiftly adjust selling approaches accordingly.
• Effectively operate within a matrix environment.
• Preferred English language proficiency in both verbal and written forms for non-English-speaking countries.
• Proven sales success within relevant therapeutic areas is preferred.
• Experience in the commercial pharmaceutical industry is preferred, such as physician/account-based selling, training, managed healthcare, or marketing.
