Senior Territory Manager, Eyecare

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Achieve sales performance, brand KPIs, financial objectives, marketing goals, and related targets.

• Develop pre-call strategies using SMART objectives and conduct post-call assessments to enhance sales effectiveness.

• Address objections, misunderstandings, and concerns while securing logical and reasonable calls to action to finalize sales discussions.

• Meet customer needs, expectations, and challenges to foster trusted relationships and attain mutually beneficial agreements.

• Formulate and implement call strategies that meet call metrics and optimize coverage and frequency for key clients.

• Gain insights into customer needs, the market landscape, competitors, market segments, dynamics, accounts, diseases, products, and sales expertise.

• Disseminate market intelligence to the field team, brand team, and sales manager.

• Distinguish AbbVie’s value proposition with the assigned healthcare providers.

• Identify, cultivate, and sustain disease-state experts and advocates to enhance brand performance.


⛳️ Requirements

• Compliance with any governmental and/or legal certification mandates as dictated by the respective country's laws and regulations (if applicable).

• A bachelor's degree in biological sciences, pharmacy, business, or a related field, or an equivalent qualification.

• A demonstrated history of success in sales.

• Strong presentation abilities.

• Comprehensive scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive knowledge.

• Acknowledged as an expert resource by relevant stakeholders.

• Robust business acumen.

• Proficient in utilizing business tools.

• Capable of strategic and critical thinking.

• Ability to recognize customer styles/behaviors and swiftly adjust selling approaches accordingly.

• Effective operation within a matrix environment.

• A proven history of successful sales performance in relevant therapeutic areas is preferred.

• Experience in the commercial pharmaceutical industry, including physician/account-based selling, training, managed healthcare, or marketing is preferred.

• Proficiency in English, both verbally and in writing, is preferred for non-English-speaking countries.
