This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Mexico.
• Oversee the planning, design, and execution of outside plant (OSP) and fiber optic infrastructure initiatives.
• Provide technical guidance and quality assurance/quality control leadership for engineering, GIS, and telecommunications design teams.
• Counsel clients and project teams on fiber network architecture, design standards, constructability, and risk management.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams spanning engineering, GIS, project management, and field operations.
• Assist in proposal creation, technical methodologies, scope definition, staffing plans, and client presentations.
• Create and implement quality management protocols, training initiatives, and operational best practices.
• Collaborate with client stakeholders, contractors, utility owners, and permitting authorities.
• Evaluate project timelines, budgets, resource estimates, and performance metrics.
• Guide technical personnel and project managers while fostering workforce development and onboarding programs.
• Discover opportunities to utilize digital tools, automation, GIS platforms, and AI-driven workflows.
• Support extensive digital infrastructure, telecommunications, and fiber network projects for hyperscale, data center, utility, and enterprise clients.
• BA/BS in Engineering, Information Technology, or a closely related discipline with over 8 years of relevant experience or a demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
• Previous experience in the planning, design, and execution of outside plant (OSP) and fiber optic infrastructure projects.
• Familiarity with all phases of business development, pursuit and capture strategies, client management, and client growth.
• Expertise in fiber network engineering and OSP design.
• Proficient in project and program management.
• Strong technical QA/QC leadership capabilities.
• Knowledge of digital infrastructure strategies.
• Experience in GIS and data management.
• Skills in client relationship management.
• Proficiency in proposal development and capture support.
• Team leadership and mentoring experience.
