This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Create, revise, and uphold technical documentation, program materials, implementation guides, white papers, literature summaries, SOPs, training resources, website content, and fact sheets.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs), clinicians, researchers, program managers, communications specialists, and federal stakeholders to collect information, ensure accuracy, address comments, and align content with program objectives.
• Design and manage reusable content assets, including approved language libraries, evidence tables, FAQ collections, plain-language modules, executive-summary templates, audience-specific message maps, and review-ready document templates.
• Aid in content strategy, message development, stakeholder review cycles, version control, quality assurance, and document management across multiple simultaneous deliverables.
• Define data flow between applications to be integrated and map business process activities to application dependencies in collaboration with Product Owners, Architects, and technical resources.
• Conduct functional allocation to identify necessary tasks and their interrelationships.
• Assist in coordinating design sessions, documenting notes, and following up with stakeholders to resolve action items.
• Revise technical documents based on design sessions, technical specifications, and documentation provided by stakeholders.
• Deliver final documentation updates in preparation for formal submission of deliverables.
• Bachelor’s degree in English, communications, journalism, or a related discipline.
• Around five (5)+ years of professional writing, editing, or technical communication experience.
• Capability to write precisely for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Familiarity with structured content, content reuse, modular writing, metadata tagging, document templates, content management systems, collaboration platforms, reference management tools, and workflow automation.
• Ability to establish repeatable writing workflows that minimize manual rework, enhance consistency, and maintain audit-ready traceability.
• Skill in evaluating emerging tools for fit, risk, security, usability, accessibility, source traceability, federal stakeholder requirements, and quality control burdens.
• Strong grasp of technical terminology, healthcare delivery systems, and principles of health communications.
• Experience in developing or editing technical reports, clinical guidance, educational materials, web content, program documentation, training content, or executive-level briefing materials.
• Exceptional command of grammar, structure, tone, plain language, and document organization.
• Strong project management abilities to handle multiple deliverables, deadlines, review cycles, and stakeholder inputs concurrently.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, SharePoint, and collaborative document review tools.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. indefinitely without sponsorship.
