Senior Technical Recruiter

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the complete recruiting cycle for Data Engineers, ML Engineers, Data Scientists, MLOps Engineers, and Software Engineers.

• Create and publish technically precise job descriptions for advanced data and ML positions.

• Actively source senior and specialized technical talent through LinkedIn, GitHub, Stack Overflow, Kaggle, professional communities, and networking avenues.

• Assess candidate backgrounds across data platforms, ML frameworks, cloud technologies, and software architectures.

• Conduct comprehensive technical screening calls to evaluate hands-on experience, system design knowledge, and problem-solving abilities.

• Collaborate with technical interviewers to synchronize assessment strategies and hiring criteria.

• Differentiate between academic ML profiles and practical engineering expertise.

• Ensure high-quality signals before moving candidates to technical interview phases.

• Work closely with engineering leaders, data architects, ML leads, and product teams to establish role specifications and hiring priorities.

• Convert business and technical requirements into effective sourcing strategies.

• Provide guidance to stakeholders on market trends, talent availability, and compensation standards.

• Develop and sustain long-term pipelines for essential data and ML skills.

• Monitor emerging technologies in AI/ML, Big Data, cloud analytics, and data platforms.

• Keep an eye on competitive hiring trends and candidate expectations in global markets.

• Oversee the candidate lifecycle within ATS and recruitment software.

• Maintain comprehensive documentation on interviews, feedback, and hiring decisions.

• Generate recruitment metrics and insights regarding pipeline health, time-to-fill, and quality of hires.

⛳️ Requirements

• Technical Degree -MUST

• 5–8+ years of experience as a Technical Recruiter, with a significant emphasis on Data, ML, AI, or Software Engineering roles.

• Proven ability to recruit senior and specialized technical profiles in fast-paced settings.

• Strong working knowledge of Data Engineering and Big Data platforms.

• Solid understanding of Machine Learning frameworks and pipelines.

• Proficient in cloud environments: AWS, Azure, GCP.

• Strong grasp of software engineering best practices.

• Demonstrated experience in conducting credible technical screening discussions.

• Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.

• Familiarity with ATS, sourcing platforms, and analytics-driven recruiting tools.
