This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Assist in ensuring quality assurance for electronic billing, payment, and banking solutions.
• Collaborate with product, development, business analysis, and Quality Assurance teams to verify product functionality.
• Enhance automated test coverage and facilitate dependable releases for financial institutions and business clients.
• Create test plans, use cases, and test scenarios derived from business requirements, functional requirements, and release scope.
• Conduct both manual and automated testing for new features, product modifications, and existing application functionalities.
• Develop and uphold automated test scripts utilizing C# .NET and existing automation frameworks.
• Write and execute database queries to verify data, troubleshoot defects, and confirm expected application performance.
• Document, report, and monitor defects until resolution using test management and defect tracking tools.
• Assess automation framework modifications and suggest enhancements to improve test coverage, maintainability, or execution efficiency.
• Partner with development, Quality Assurance, business analysis, and partner teams across India and the U.S. to assist in iterative product releases.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in software quality assurance testing for web, application, or financial technology products.
• At least 4 years of experience in creating test plans, test cases, use cases, and test scenarios from business and functional requirements.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in developing or supporting automated test solutions using C# .NET or a comparable object-oriented programming language.
• Over 4 years of experience in writing Structured Query Language queries to validate application data and troubleshoot testing outcomes.
• At least 4 years of experience with test management and defect tracking tools.
• Over 4 years of experience communicating test status, risks, and defects to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• A Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, relevant experience, and/or military service.
• Must have valid and unrestricted U.S. work authorization.
• Candidates needing sponsorship now or in the future will not be considered.
• Preferred experience with banking, bill payment, or electronic billing products.
• Preferred experience applying Agile testing methodologies.
• Preferred familiarity with command-line functions in both UNIX and Windows environments.
• Preferred experience with Python, VBScript, Ruby, AutoHotKey, Microsoft Office, SharePoint, or Skype.
