This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in China.
• Responsible for ensuring the quality of the trading platform and the core links of the self-developed L1 chain, covering modules such as matching, settlement, margin and funding fees, order/withdrawal, accounts and signatures, block persistence, indexing, and external interfaces.
• Lead the testing strategies, solution design, and risk assessment for major requirements and core modules.
• Design complex scenario tests for high concurrency, data consistency, idempotence, timeout retries, exception recovery, node crashes, and restarts.
• Continuously conduct non-assigned systemic risk investigations, proactively selecting modules for in-depth reviews and implementing new testing scenarios.
• Build and continuously optimize the automated testing system, promote integration with CI/CD, and enhance coverage, regression efficiency, and delivery quality.
• Participate in requirement and technical solution reviews.
• Responsible for complex issue localization, root cause analysis, and quality risk tracking, facilitating problem resolution.
• Conduct testing for public chain/consensus systems, including block generation and finality, reorganization and replay, nonce windows, and double-spending protection (a plus).
• Design performance stress testing plans, analyze the impact of block generation rate, consensus RTT, CPU topology, and core binding on throughput, and identify bottlenecks (a plus).
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
• Over 5 years of software testing experience, with practical testing experience in digital asset trading platforms.
• Strong automation testing development skills, proficient in at least one of Python, Java, or Go.
• Ability to quickly learn a new compiled language and understand system-level code.
• Proficient in using SQL for data querying, validation, and analysis.
• Capable of identifying complex issues in a Linux environment by combining system logs, trace links, and business data.
• Familiar with data validation and operational troubleshooting for ClickHouse, MySQL, and object storage (S3).
• In-depth understanding of underlying mechanisms of operating systems.
• Knowledgeable about concurrency and read/write contention in ultra-low latency architectures based on shared memory.
• Familiar with interface testing tools such as Postman and Apifox.
• Possess a drive to independently uncover risks, a rigorous logic based on evidence, and a practical attitude of facing trial and error with the courage to overturn one’s own assumptions.
• Experience in public chain/consensus system testing (a plus).
• Familiarity with performance testing tools like JMeter and Locust (a plus).
• Understanding of CI/CD processes (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions) (a plus).
• Experience in binary/memory-mapped state forensics, allocation profiling, flame graphs, and other in-depth troubleshooting (a plus).
