Senior Technical Program Manager – EDA Chip Infrastructure

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Oversee the formulation and implementation of initiatives that enhance the bringup, operations, and modernization of infrastructure for NVIDIA's Hardware EDA ecosystem.

• Collaborate internally within Hardware Infrastructure and externally with senior management and other business-unit stakeholders to expand the EDA Infrastructure initiative.

• Design and standardize methodologies for planning, reporting, and execution, along with relevant metrics.

• Develop technical strategies, establish programs, and manage execution to ensure seamless, rapid, and efficient bringups.

• Promote continuous enhancement across tools, automation, and cluster operations and management.

• Direct engineering activities through planning, prioritization, design, dependency management, implementation, and execution using agile methodologies.

• Utilize metrics, OKRs, and KPIs to evaluate program success and pinpoint areas for improvement.

• Establish communication channels for reporting program status, risks, and opportunities.

• Act as a technical and non-technical intermediary among developers, customers, and partners to foster alignment within a multifunctional matrixed organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• B.S. degree (or equivalent experience) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.

• Over 12 years of demonstrated experience in software or hardware engineering and/or technical program management roles, showcasing expertise in both technical and management practices.

• Previous experience in infrastructure software, production application software development, and large-scale distributed computing.

• Proficient in managing large-scale EDA infrastructure with various CPU/GPU architectures.

• Comprehensive understanding of semiconductor design and manufacturing processes along with associated EDA tools and workflows.

• Outstanding communication and presentation skills suitable for a diverse range of technical and non-technical audiences.

• Strong multitasking skills with an emphasis on thoroughness and swift context switching.

• Familiarity with agile methodologies and top-tier project management tools.

• Proactive and passionate about identifying and implementing positive changes in software engineering and release management within a fast-paced environment.

• Extensive experience in infrastructure cluster buildouts and NPI hardware evaluation.

• Active involvement in modernizing EDA Infrastructure solutions and capabilities to offer a Platform as a Product.

• Previous experience in migrating platforms and solutions from on-premises to cloud environments.

• Knowledge of software development, release, support methodologies, and DevOps practices.
