This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.

📋 Description

• Take charge of positioning and messaging for AI traffic management, which encompasses AI gateway and guardrails capabilities, LLM routing, policy enforcement, content safety, and multi-agent traffic governance.

• Develop positioning strategies for AI, MCP, and agent registries, including aspects like listing, registration, governance, and developer discovery.

• Spearhead technical field enablement for Kong Solution Engineers, Customer Success Managers, and other technical roles in the field.

• Represent Kong at industry events, analyst briefings, webinars, and discussions with customers.

• Create technical content such as demos, blogs, whitepapers, reference architectures, and documentation-related materials.

• Collaborate with product management to define how new capabilities are framed, named, and sequenced.

• Provide technical positioning, proof points, and demo materials for product launches and marketing campaigns.

• Mentor and enhance technical storytelling throughout the AI portfolio.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in product marketing, product management, or solutions engineering.

• A hands-on interest in AI infrastructure, including the deployment of LLMs, agentic frameworks, Model Context Protocol, and AI governance.

• Capability to convert intricate technical concepts into narratives appealing to technical practitioners and C-suite executives.

• Preference for experience in open-source software, SaaS platforms, and enterprise go-to-market strategies.

• Familiarity with competing and complementary vendors in areas such as API gateways, AI observability, vector databases, iPaaS, and agentic orchestration frameworks is highly desirable.
