This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +45 more states.
• Secure buy-in for the product vision and strategy from leadership and internal stakeholders.
• Define and manage the product technical roadmap with insights from senior leadership and stakeholders.
• Effectively oversee the product backlog by prioritizing and balancing customer experience, performance, and operational load or competing features.
• Lead decision-making and product launches in collaboration with engineering, UX, operations, business development, third-party vendors, and other cross-functional teams.
• Consistently provide updates to stakeholders and customers regarding the roadmap and product status.
• Leverage data, usability studies, research, and market analysis to guide product strategies.
• Set and monitor key metrics to measure product success.
• Create clear business requirements and user stories for product specifications and architecture.
• Collaborate effectively with the engineering team to deliver essential product features and manage delivery risks.
• Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, engineering, or comparable practical experience in product management.
• Over 5 years of experience in product management and/or product design.
• More than 5 years of experience managing complex initiatives from inception to completion using product management processes and best practices.
• Proven experience in defining and implementing product metrics to monitor performance and success.
• Familiarity with all stages of product delivery.
• Experience contributing to technical discussions and shaping product strategy.
• Background in managing technical products or online services.
• Experience representing various customers and stakeholders during the planning process.
• Over 5 years of Mobile/Web experience with a focus on UX flow definition is preferred.
• Experience in Property and Casualty Insurance is preferred.
