Technical Product Owner – m/f/d

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Assist in gathering requirements and implementing them through to the release and further enhancement of a software application.

• Play a role in a project aimed at enhancing a communication and collaboration platform for federal, state, and local government entities.

• Integrate technological knowledge with the needs of clients and team members.

• Develop and manage the Product Backlog, focusing mainly on technical requirements, ongoing sprint objectives, and releases.

• Evaluate new requirements and create User Stories for components based on Java, Spring Boot, and React.

• Act as the primary contact for customers, providing support and guidance.

• Keep up-to-date with current developments and share knowledge with customers, Scrum Masters, other Product Owners, and developers.

• Assume responsibility for ongoing quality assurance and the delivery of new software components.

⛳️ Requirements

• Completed degree or equivalent vocational training in a technical discipline.

• Experience in software development, in roles such as Technical Consultant or Product Owner, ideally within agile software development projects.

• Strong understanding of requirements analysis and both functional and technical design of software systems.

• Passion for the digital transformation of public administration and the application of modern technologies in the public sector.

• Eagerness to work on complex topics within an interdisciplinary setting, paired with robust analytical skills.

• Strong commitment to quality and a genuine enjoyment of engaging with both internal and external stakeholders.

• Clear, understandable, and proactive communication abilities.

• Willingness to travel.

• Proficient in German (C2 or native-level proficiency).
