This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +45 more states.
• Identify and articulate product capabilities in collaboration with Product, Engineering, business stakeholders, and subject matter experts.
• Cultivate a thorough understanding of the systems, data, integrations, and workflows that support the products.
• Evaluate feasibility, design technical solutions, and pinpoint dependencies and trade-offs alongside engineering leaders and architects.
• Contribute a technical viewpoint to decisions regarding the roadmap, priorities, scope, and sequencing.
• Convert business and product requirements into precise specifications and actionable engineering tasks.
• Aid in execution by assisting teams in identifying and addressing ambiguity, dependencies, risks, and obstacles.
• Convey product and technical decisions, trade-offs, and their implications to stakeholders and senior leadership.
• Influence highly intricate, cross-functional work and guide technical direction at the Principal level.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Extensive experience managing technically intricate software products or capabilities through technical product management, software engineering, or a similar role.
• Robust understanding of the design, development, deployment, operation, and evolution of enterprise software.
• Technical expertise in system design, APIs, data, integrations, dependencies, and technical trade-offs.
• Capability to interpret complex business requirements into technically sound product specifications and actionable engineering tasks.
• Strong product judgment regarding scope, priorities, and trade-offs.
• Ability to operate independently across teams, bring clarity to ambiguity, and influence without direct authority.
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to articulate complex technical issues and recommendations to senior leadership.
• For senior roles: 5+ years of experience in technical product management.
• For principal roles: 8+ years of experience in technical product management.
• Preferred: 2+ years of software engineering or development experience for Senior; 3+ years for Principal.
• Preferred: A Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Engineering, or a related technical area.
• Preferred experience in healthcare, pharmacy, another regulated sector, or environments with complex data, security, and compliance requirements.
• Preferred experience with complex enterprise integrations, APIs, data flows, or distributed systems.
• Preferred experience in an early-stage or growth-stage technology company.
