This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +15 more states.
• Develop and implement product roadmaps for designated product areas in collaboration with the Director of Product.
• Lead product initiatives from the discovery phase to launch and subsequent optimization.
• Balance business goals, customer needs, and technical factors to enhance product value.
• Conduct user research, collect customer insights, and analyze market trends.
• Convert business requirements into comprehensive product specifications and user stories.
• Create and maintain product documentation to support development, testing, and release processes.
• Own and prioritize the product backlog while making trade-off decisions.
• Collaborate with Engineering, UX/UI Design, Marketing, Operations, and Customer Success teams.
• Facilitate alignment among stakeholders and guide product lifecycle decision-making.
• Assist in product testing, quality assurance, and post-launch evaluations.
• Utilize data and analytics to assess product success and identify areas for improvement.
• Prepare product documentation, training resources, release communications, and internal enablement tools.
• Support product launches and initiatives aimed at enhancing adoption.
• Create and oversee product roadmaps.
• Collaborate with Marketing to formulate advertising strategies.
• Analyze metrics and evaluate product performance.
• Manage larger projects that involve multiple development teams.
• Oversee platform development vendors and provide technical oversight.
• Ensure the delivery of platform and services.
• Manage product strategy and feature/capability sets for business solutions.
• Independently handle complex cross-functional projects, escalating only significant strategic issues.
• Offer guidance and support to entry-level professionals and team members.
• 5+ years of experience in product management, ideally within B2B SaaS, insurance technology, fintech, or similar digital platforms.
• Proven track record of launching and enhancing commercial products or product features.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in Agile product development environments utilizing tools such as Azure DevOps (ADO), Jira, Aha!, or comparable platforms.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to inform decision-making.
• Technical proficiency and the ability to collaborate effectively with software engineering teams.
• Demonstrated capability to succeed in a fast-paced, changing environment with shifting priorities.
• Experience in the insurance sector, fintech, or InsurTech is preferred.
• Experience in pet health or pet insurance is a plus.
• Familiarity with supporting digital transformation projects and modern platform development.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution, or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience (one year of relevant professional experience may substitute for one year of college education).
