Senior Technical Product Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of product definition and ensure the quality of the backlog by integrating customer feedback, identifying market challenges and product outcomes, and converting strategy into epics, features, and user stories.

• Ensure clarity, readiness, and alignment of priorities within the backlog.

• Collaborate with Engineering and Architecture teams to design scalable, event-driven, and secure systems.

• Convey priorities, context, constraints, and anticipated outcomes to development teams.

• Assess tradeoffs related to customer value, technical feasibility, delivery risk, and platform integrity.

• Lead iteration planning and backlog refinement within agile workflows.

• Identify and manage delivery risks, dependencies, and obstacles.

• Advocate for AI, automated testing, reusability, repeatability, and secure-by-design methodologies.

• Monitor product performance and delivery metrics, using data and feedback to refine the roadmap.

• Balance feature development with defect resolution and the reduction of technical debt.

• Act as a subject matter expert and product ambassador for both internal and external stakeholders.

• Foster cross-functional relationships around roadmap priorities and delivery expectations.

• Mentor and assist others in contemporary product management and agile delivery methodologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• Over 5 years of experience as a Technical Product Owner, Product Owner, Software Engineer, or in a similar role within agile environments.

• Experience with criminal data source fulfillment or regulated data environments is highly preferred.

• Familiarity with AI, API-architected, and event-driven systems.

• Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous environments and make informed decisions with incomplete data.

• Strong technical skills related to APIs, system architecture, integrations, and cloud-native ecosystems.

• Capability to convert complex business problems into clear, actionable technical requirements.

• Experience in balancing feature delivery with platform health, scalability, and security.

• Exceptional communication abilities with both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Customer-focused, results-driven, and inclined towards learning and iteration.

• Collaborative, accountable, and comfortable leading without formal authority.

• Strong analytical thinking with effective prioritization and decision-making capabilities.
