Senior Technical Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia.

📋 Description

• Lead high-performing teams dedicated to pioneering research, safeguarding the environment, and enhancing healthcare outcomes.

• Propel innovation and digital transformation while ensuring uninterrupted IT operations throughout the organization.

• Manage essential IT functions such as infrastructure, applications, security, and support services.

• Spearhead the adoption of new technologies and processes while upholding strict adherence to industry regulations.

• Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement and excellence in service delivery.

• Develop team members, effectively manage resources, and establish robust partnerships across the organization.


⛳️ Requirements

• Advanced Degree with 6 years of experience, or Bachelor's Degree with 8 years of experience in IT, including at least 3 years in leadership or management roles.

• Preferred Fields of Study: Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related disciplines.

• Industry certifications (ITIL, PMP, Agile, etc.) are highly regarded.

• Extensive expertise in IT infrastructure, systems architecture, enterprise applications, and supply chain management.

• Proven track record in managing IT projects and leading digital transformation efforts.

• Experience in regulated environments (GxP, FDA, etc.) while ensuring compliance.

• Advanced understanding of ITIL processes, IT security best practices, and risk management.

• Exceptional stakeholder management skills and the ability to cultivate partnerships across various functions.

• Strong capabilities in budget management and resource planning.

• Proven ability to lead distributed teams effectively.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

• Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure) and modern IT architectures.

• Expertise in change management and the capacity to drive organizational transformation.

• Proficient in SDLC methodologies (Agile, DevOps).
