Senior Technical Lead – App Development

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Engage in hands-on development and support of enterprise-level J2EE web applications.

• Create and maintain applications utilizing React JS, Spring, Spring Boot, and cloud technologies.

• Identify and resolve application issues through troubleshooting and debugging.

• Oversee production data monitoring and conduct error analysis.

• Communicate with clients via electronic means and phone.

• Perform in-depth investigations into failures and other related issues.

• Lead the team while mentoring junior members.

• Oversee offshore production monitoring activities.

• Assume responsibility for issues until resolution and coordinate with other teams as necessary.

• Set clear customer expectations.

• Offer recommendations regarding sizing and scalability.

• Address connectivity and deployment challenges.

• Operate within Kanban and ticket-based production support frameworks.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 10+ years of experience in production monitoring within Java Web/Enterprise projects.

• Proven experience in enterprise-level J2EE web application development and support.

• Hands-on expertise in React JS, Spring, Spring Boot, and cloud technologies.

• Familiarity with the Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF) environment.

• Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills.

• Background in support roles involving B2B functions, production monitoring, error analysis, client communication, and issue investigation.

• Capability to lead a team effectively.

• Experience managing offshore production monitoring models.

• Strong presentation abilities.

• Exceptional communication skills.

• Knowledge of Kanban and ticket-based support models.

• Experience with Java EE and Maven.

• Extensive expertise in troubleshooting the JavaScript object model.

• Deep understanding of React.js and its fundamental principles.

• Familiarity with React.js workflows like Flux or Redux.

• Experience with Spring frameworks and open-source libraries.

• Knowledge of Spring Security and SSO solutions.

• Experience with SOA and Web Services (REST/SOAP).

• Proficient in database applications, including Oracle, MySQL, and ORM tools.

• Experience in providing sizing and scalability recommendations and resolving connectivity and deployment challenges.
